Brake Drums - Ford Probe

I have a 92 Ford Probe GL . I am having trouble getting the rear break drums off. I have sprayed penetrating oil around the lugs several times today and tapped all around the hub and it has not moved the slightest. Anybody got any suggestions or no any tricks?

Make sure the self adjusters are loosened up (they may be frozen however).

Give it a good rap with a lump hammer and spray it REALLY good with WD40.

Replace all friction and hardware when you are inside. Might want to change the wheel cylinders too.

Since a Ford probe is actually a Mazda have you removed the 2 drum retaining screws?Usually requires an impact driver.

Thanks all for your replies and help. Joe, I followed your link to cbrrpartspro.com and it told me exactly what to do, pictures and all. Thanks for the help. The drum is help on by a hub nut. Back the nut off with a 1 1/4 sockett and the drum comes right off. Davo, I'm not sure if that is the same thing you meant or not. Anyway, thanks again.
