Any special tools needed to replace leaf springs on a '95 Tacoma 4x4?

Assume you mean the spring as an entire unit?
Penetrating oil, good hydraulic jack, couple good jack stands.
Good set of 1/2 drive metric /sockets. May need a deepwell for the shackle bolts. Last but not least, patience. An impact wrench is a big help.

A rachet strap can come in handy.

I second the air tools bit. You'll be beaten to death with fatigue doing it by hand!

Thank you very much for the info. I found out the hard way the part about using an impact. I was pressed for time, but now realize I definitely need to use more patience. By the way, what is a "ratchet strap"?
