transmission

I have a 94 Mazada Navajo and the transmission won't shift out. I replaced the modulator valve and that didn't help. Any suggestions???

Make sure the module is getting vacuum, also check the shift linkage, if that dose not help you more than likely have internal problems and will need a rebuild.

Regulates the vacuum which shifts the transmission.

When it fails, no shift. Not all vehicles have one---some trannies are electronically controlled. Hit your local parts store to see if they list one for your vehicle.

A Mazda Navajo is just a lackluster copy of a Ford Explorer.
