i have a 97 ford ranger...i have noticed when i am driving down road and hit a bump it seems to want to bounce or move to the side.....almost like losing control for a second what would cause this and how to fix it

I'd definitely start by replacing all four shocks. Stock suspension and tires?

they might be the origanal shocks i just replaced all the tires

Correct. Has the suspension been modified (Lifted, lowered, etc) in any way? Are the tires the right size? Inflated to the OEM recommended pressure?
