94 Grand Caravan - Replacing Driver's Door Lock Cylinder/ Assembly
It turns out that the '94 door I purchased for my Caravan did have a switch for power locks, but had no actuator. ( Amazingly, the date 7/9/1996 was scribbled on the door's interrior as well. Hmmm...
Anyway. to make a long question short, I now have a door (with no key) and power locks that don't work. I'd like to take out the whole assembly from my old door and place it in the new(old) door. (As suggested earlier, I kept my old harness and snaked it back in - Thanks). It looks like it comes out from the inside, but I thought I'd ask here first.
Any thoughts ?
Thanks...

Dont see any real problem exchanging the parts, may take a little while. Just take note of how the parts go and if they are identical. See joe's basics, there is a view of that mechanism.

I agree. The lock cylinder comes out from inside the door. Usually a retaining clip that holds it in.
