Lawn Tractor Engine

I have a 6-7 year old riding mower it has a B&S 14.5 hp IC Gold engine the engine runs great uses no oil has plenty of power my problem is the starter barely turns the engine over I put a new starter on it and I still have the same problem I can't get it to turn over fast enough to start. Any ideas ?

Hello Hotrod!

Your valves need to be tightened. Adjust them (put both at .004" and you'll be ok).

Let us know how it goes
