Question car will not start

I HAVE A 1988 COROLLA, AUTOMATIC, 4CYL. WHEN I TRY TO START MY CAR ALL I GET IS A CLICK. MY BATTERY IS FULLY CHARGED, AND I HAVE CHECKED THE FUSES. IT WILL NOT EVEN JUMP START. THE LIGHTS, HORN, AND RADIO WORK, HOWEVER NOT TO THEIR NORMAL CAPACITY. I AM A SINGLE LADY WHO HAS DECIDED TO DO SOME OF MY OWN CAR REPAIR. I RECENTLY REPLACED THE RADIATOR, HOSES, AND THERMOSTAT, WHICH IS THE EXTENT OF MY MECHANICAL EFFORTS SO FAR.
I REALIZE MY QUESTION PROBABLY HAS MANY PROBABLE ANSWERS BUT IF SOMEONE COULD PLEASE ADVISE ME ON WHAT TO CHECK FIRST AND WHAT TO START ELIMINATING AS THE CAUSE. THANKS SO MUCH

Clean the battery cable connections first, if no go then, you could have a bad solenoid or starter. "Are you sure" the battery is up to par??? Maybe a bad cell.

Original Poster: Kill the caps. No need to shout.

I agree with Darrell. You have a poor connection or a wasted starter. Tap on the starter body with a hammer (don't go ape). If the vehicle now starts, replace the starter with an OEM Toyota rebuilt unit.
