1992 LeBaron, electrical problem

Briefly:

1992 LeBaron, 3.0 Mitsubishi motor, convertible. Sits covered for six days a week, driven once a week, car in good condition for an older vehicle. Serviced on a regular basis.

Started her up last week and radio/clock didn't work, everything else OK and able to drive with no problems. I attempted to fix the radio/clock problem by swapping out fuses, but to no avail. Yesterday, the rear electric window wouldn't go down... then it worked fine an hour or so later. I was wondering if the old wires deep down in the guts of the vehicle have become worn out and are shorting.

Any ideas other than taking it to the shop? My troubleshooting skills/equipment go only as far as trial and error fuse-swaps.

Thanks.

Sounds like a wiring problem---typical of these lackluster Chrysler products when they get old .

Not much to do without a wiring diagram.

Thanks. I've been trying to talk my better half to get rid of this POS for a while now. This may help.
