Blinker Problem

I have a 1999 Oldsmobile Alero GL Coupe. The blinkers have been working off and on now for about 2 weeks. They will both work for a couple days, then they won't work for a couple days. I checked the fuse and it seems to be ok. Could bad bulbs cause this?

Sure. Do the hazard flashers work properly? If they do, you likely have a turn signal flasher/relay problem.

The flasher for your car is a internal component of the hazard switch,so if you feel it is bad you need a hazard switch.Yes bad bulbs could cause this,if you change them use the proper # bulb.

I have found that when my blinkers stop working, I can turn my hazard lights on and off and the blinkers work again. I'll try a hazard switch and see if that's the problem.
