If you don't even get lights, horn, etc check the battery cable connections for tightness and corrosion.

If you get all that, but it won't crank, tap on the starter with a hammer and if it now starts, the starter is bad.

How do you know the battery is fine?

Fords are notorious for bad starter solenoids. Everything will work fine, but the car won't turn over. First it will do it when it's hot, eventually it won't start at all.

The good news is that on Fords the solenoid is "remote" (usually mounted in the engine compartment) and is easy to replace. GM was kind enough to mount them to the starter itself, which requires removing the entire starter.
