Wink Rough idles

1996 Integra Ls
Automatic trans.
85,000 Miles

I 've recently did a full preventive maintenance on my own which included new timming belt, water pump, all new belts, air filter, fuel filter, plugs, cap, and rotor, pvc valve, and flush the coolant system. Car ran find at high speed but it idle rough especially when A/C kicks in. I re-adjust the idle but that doen't seem to help. I bought these parts from the dealer. the only difference is the plugs. the old plugs were BOSCH-PLATINUM+4 SPARK PLUG. and the new plugs are NGK ZFR5F-11 which Haynes Manual recomemded. Can somebody tell me what might be the problems before take the baby to the pro. Thanks.

Could have dirt in the throttle body or a bad idle air control valve.

"Adjusting" the idle is a waste of time---it's computer controlled.

I'm probably putting my size 12's in, but it sounds like you may have 1 cam a tooth off, (assuming this is either duel overhead or a v-6) If the car ran fine before the maintenance, I'd be looking back over what "I" did.. Also the new plugs? are they platinums also? Put back what the manufacturer put in..

I went ahead and clean the throtle body and also adjusting the valve clearance but didn't seem the fix it. About the plugs, the NGK were the original. I replaced the platinum plugs at the 40k miles tune-up. By the way, this problem seem to be worse as the weather gets hot.

How did the idle air control valve test? How about any vacuum leaks?
