Picked up a 85 GMC Sierra. body is excellent shape. Has 4.3 engine with 192000 miles on it and it smokes alittle no engine noise. Is there any kind of oil additative I could use to help prolong the engine another 25000 miles before replacing the engine. Thanks

Just buy quality oil and keep it full, and when it starts making noises turn up the radio. Start saving now for a crate 350.

If it smokes, the motor is on borrowed time. Just maintain it the best you can and run it till you hear the rod go through the bottom end. Then replace the engine .

No fix in a can. You can use slightly thicker oil, but that's masking the real problem.
