My 1997 Dodge Caravan horn doesn't work

Help....I have a 1997 Dodge Caravan and the horn doesn't work. It's very frustrating. I have replaced the relay and the 20amp fuse but it still doesn't work....could it be the horn button itself and if it is...how do I access it and repair it? I bought another horn thinking it could be the old one was bad, but when I removed it and connected it to a battery it worked....REALLY WELL....ouch...I would appreciate any information you can give me on this subject....Thank you so much and have a good day/night and a very happy smiley one tomorrow.Help, My 1997 Dodge Caravan horn doesn't work.

Sounds like the airbag clockspring is bad. It's a common problem.'

The clockspring in the contact between the steering wheel and the steering column. Your airbag, horn & cruise control switches are powered through it.

The clockspring is not a DIY repair. See your friendly MOPAR dealer or a qualified independent shop.

Absolutely. Not a DIY job, time for professional repair.
