Download GM service manual?

There was a post recently about an Elantra problem, and one of the replies noted that one could download service manual pages from a Hyundia site hmaservice.com.
I have the Chilton and Haynes books for my car (90 Beretta) which help and don't help sometimes. I cannot afford to buy a factory service manual. Does anyone know if a web site exists for GM cars with access to manuals?

A couple of options:

1) OEM books can be had used. "DavesBooks" on Ebay (look him up by seller name), Dan Bower at [email protected] or Dan Klein at [email protected]

I got all of the books (four in total) for both my everyday cars for 65 bucks delivered to my house in good shape. That's the price of a good dinner for one---spend it on your wheels instead.

2) A $25.00 Alldata.com subscription is good for one year and works too.

No, GM does not offer free manual downloads.
