Unhappy tubular bumper kits install

Hello, do the tubular nerf bar bumper kits (front, rear, and sides) have to be welded on or are they mounted? Do I need them to be professionally installed?

Depends on the bumper, vehicle and kit. DeeZee is probably one of the better known ones, I would try contacting them and see what they say. Find their URL on www.google.com.

Personally, I think those bumpers look silly.

Actually I have a 2003 Jeep wrangler....you think they look silly on jeeps, on trucks yeah, but jeeps i think they look good and add a little more protection from dings and such...

The point is not looks, the point is to smash something other than your rocker panels on rough trails or to aid in entry or exit. Most are bolt-on, but to be sure check with the maker of the model you are looking at.
