Replacing Struts

Can anyone tell me how to replace the rear struts on a 1999 Plymouth Voyager? Is it easy enough to do on my own?

Thanks

You'll need a good assortment of hand tools. Air tools make the job a LOT easier.

the only problem you are going to run into is you need to compress the spring onto the strut, you can buy a tool to do that but the shop near by will do it for you cheaper,so my suggetion is to remove the old struts then take the springs and the new struts to a shop, have them compress the springs onto the strut, the will probably only charge you $10.00-$20.00 and the toll costs atlests $40.00

Arrow

The '99 Caravan (both the FWD and AWD models) use leaf springs and conventional shock absorbers in the rear. No special tools are needed for this job.
