crazy windsheild wipers

I have a 1994 chevy S-10 and you don't know when the wipers are or aren't going to function properly. At times they will cut off in mid view or not stop when you do cut them off. The washer seems to work only when it wants to. Thanks

Some of these and later models suffered from broken solder joints on the curcuit board where the plug goes into motor. Might want to wiggle that plug and see if that has any affect on your problem. If so you can replace the board without removing wiper motor, takes about 30 minutes and a few screws. If you are handy, and it is a solder joint, you may be able to resolder/re-enforce it. Dealers replace the board. Just an idea.
