automatic seat belt
Hi,
I have a 91 Honda Civic with an automatic seat belt. During the summer time, the seat belt warning light is always on with a beeping noise constantly while I am driving. Recently, the seat belt does not go up by itself most of the time. Does someone know
what the problem is and know how to fix it? I appreciate for your help and advise. Thanks.
Regards,
David

It probably has fault in the motor or actuation switch. This can be a major gazorch to repair as much of the trim has to come out to service the motorized assembly.
I suggest an Alldata.com subscription if you're going to tackle this yourself. You may wish to check the door pin switches to make sure they don't stick. That might cause the motorized assembly to think the door is open when it is really closed.
These motorized seat belts aren't worth 50 cents.
