Detailing my car

Just cleaned the car out and noticed the floors are terrible. Being a real neat freak, I need to clean them. My kids got pop, sticky stuff, mud, and other assorted food products on the carpeted floor of my car.

Any tips on what to shampoo it with that will get most of (if not all) it out?

You may wish to take the carpet out and have it professionally steam cleaned.

Alternatively, you can rent a carpet steamer from Home Depot and try whatever chemical they have there for it.

You can join http://www.autopia.org/. That is a detailer's forum and they will give you excellent advice. It is the #1 forum for any car care cleaning advice in my opinion.
