How do I change and where di I locate the cabin filters on my 1999 honda accord, lx, 4 cyl, auto trans?

There's usually an access cover and it's under that. Have you looked in the owner's manual to see if they have anything there? How about autolibrary.org?

most of these I have seen on various cars, the R&R procedure is explained in the Owners Manual. Be sure the new one is seated properly. Sad part is some have filter and some dont and the only way to find out is to look. Manuals will sometime say. "If so equipped".

These are mysterious things, these cabin filters. Everyone has heard of them, but noone has yet seen one in a car. But I understand that they are mounted near the heater core in the cabin compartment, so poke around there.

Are you certain that you have a cabin air filter? They are usually on newer luxury cars.
