1998 Voyager Flashing lights

1998 Voyager Flashing lights

I have a 1998 Voyager my wife ran into a store with the van on when she got back in the van the van would not start. someone gave her a jump and it started but there are 4 lights flashing on the climate controls the Rear Wiper, Intermittent Rear Wipe Air conditioning , Recirculation, are flashing. What does this mean

Thanks to member yamahawolverine on this one When ever the battery is shorted or not properly jump started the hvac system may enter a diagnostic mode. This makes the rear wiper light to flash, ac inop, ect. What you need to do is let the ac system complete a self test. First set the blower switch to hi speed. Than set mode switch to panel vents. Than all ac vents open, turn the key on, press and hold both washer and wiper rear buttons together for 5 seconds and start engine. At this point the ac system does a self test. When self test is complete press the rear wiper button again and if system is good it will reset. This works so if it didnt seem to work you may need to try it again

Does everything else function OK? Something's likely wrong with the charging system if you needed a jump.

Joe, yes everything is working ok I think the charging system is low.
