jeep grand cherokee security reset want start

jeep grand cherokee security reset want start

1994 v8 took the battery cables loose to clean now want start. the engine turns and the security light blinks and clicking in dash. i dont have a manual, where or how do i reset??

Some cars can be reset by using the key to lock and unlock the doors, then try starting the car.. Can't remember for sure if that applies to Jeeps or not...

Perhaps the security system isn't the problem. Do you have spark or fuel???

1994 jeep security

thanks , you were right about the door locks and key it worked, if i can find the ac drain now and get the condensate out of the floor i will be set.

I'm glad the key "trick" worked for you!
As for the A/C drain, my shop has had 1 of these in fo rthis problem 1 time that I remember, and don't remember wheat was done.. Short of taking the case apart, I'm at a loss here.. (And you SURELY don't want to take that thing apart!!!!!)

Question jeep

just as info, i called advance which replaceas batteries all the time for their customers and they didn't know ? must not sell any to grand cherokee owners. also called auto zone and jamie put me on hold for 1 hr 15 min. just thought i would see how long, tks, for speaker phones.
