clutch replacement

I have a 92 GMC pickup 350 5 speed. That I need to repace the clutch assembly. I Have already purchased the clutch assembly and would appreciate the process on how to. I am very mechanicly capable.

Have a look in autolibrary.org below---the pictures are worth a thousand words for it.

Replace the throwout bearing, clutch, pressure plate and and the flywheel resurfaced. Also inspect the clutch linkage and repair/adjust as needed.

Get a good quality clutch kit with an alignment tool.

I agree w/ Joe.

You should also strongly consider replacing the clutch slave cylinder at this time. At a minimum, flush the clutch hydraulic system with fresh brake fluid.
