Gas ???? for the tow guy
In another post you mentioned that overfilling the gas tank leads to evaporator problems, could you give a brief on what problems it cause and why? I know I regularly round off when I fill up and if that's not a good practice I will stop. Thanks

Overfilling the fuel tank can flood the Evaporative Emissions Canister with liquid fuel, effectively destroying it.
Modern cars have fuel/vapor separators to help prevent this, yet people still manage to destroy evap. canisters on a fairly regular basis.

Like they said.......
I gas up at the end of every day at the local Sam's Club and invariably I will be sharing a pump with somebody who is intent on filling the tank until it dribbles out the filler neck.
You won't hurt anything if you squeeze in an extra nickels worth, but if the pump says $17.05, don't pump it to round off at $18.
Good for my business, but that's about all.
