1995 nissan altima wont start

i have a 1995 nissan altima that wont start.
i can turn the ignition and then all the dashboard lights light up (seatbelt, check engine, battery, oil) and i dont hear the starter click either. the horn still works as do the head lights. i have no idea what is going on.
any input would greatly be appreciated
thanx

Check battery, check cables. You may also have a safety interlock swx that is bad or out of adjustment.

Clean all battery terminals and connections. Make sure they are tight.

Barring that, tap on the starter body with a hammer (don't go ape). If the vehicle starts, the starter is finished. Rebuild time. Get a Nissan rebuilt from the dealer.
