Frozen indicator

1992 Pontiac Grand AM
4 cyl. 2.3 Liter "D" Type engine
52,000 miles

My left indicator is frozen. When I push down the handle to turn it on, the arrow on the dash lights up and both the front and back bulbs on the outside of the care light up. It doesn't blink though. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

This morning the indicator was blinking, but once every 10 seconds or so...not as quickly as it should.

Make sure all of the bulbs are good, are the right part # and are in correctly. Inspect the sockets for any corrosion or loose wires.

Barring that, may be a bad flasher.
