97 Grand Cherokee Lareda Noise when turning

Recently our 97 Grand Cherokee Lareda is making a noise when you make a turn. The noise is coming from the front of the Jeep. It sounds like a pen rolling across a table. Any suggestions?

Thanks

You could have bad half shaft joints (similar to a CV joint noise). If it clicks when you turn, this is likely what it is.

Another possibility is bad U-joints. Have it inspected ASAP.

I agree with Joe..Sounds like a CV joint going bad..Do it only make this noise when turning, or other random times?

It only makes the noise when turning. It seems to be more noticable when making right turns.

I certainly appreciate your time.

thanks,
michael
