Gas Pedal Cable

Hey Joe:

Any suggestions on where to start if the gas pedal cable broke on a 1987 Honda Accord?

Get a new OEM cable from any Honda dealer.

It hooks on the bottom end by the gas pedal and up top by the throttle body/carburetor (depends on which Accord you have, they came both ways).

The Honda parts person can advise of any adjustments or additional parts needed to do the repair. Have them give you the exploded view of the cable & attachments from the parts literature.

I believe 86 and 87 Accords are covered in the same set of microfiche (thinking off the top of my head).
