Oil Pump change for 1991 Lincoln

We did not receive an owner's manual with our used '91 Lincoln Continental and need some direction on changing the oil pump. It is a V6.- Thanks, J. Swaf

The owner's manual won't tell you how to do this repair, but you should get a copy for fluid capacities and other things.

www.helminc.com has new owner's manuals for Lincolns.

As for changing the oil pump, check autolibrary.org for R&R instructions, if not a $25 alldata.com subscription should do.

Be careful about spending any serious money on these vehicles, they are collosal bombs.

Curious as to why you want to change the oil pump in the first place??
