Is a fuel filter something I can change myself?

Not if you like to leave out details such as the make & model of your vehicle!

What type of vehicle?

Question fuel filter

It's a 2000 Grand am. The 10 minute oil change place said I need one. I want to make sure I need one before I spend the money. I can change a air filter. Is the fuel filter as easy?

Most GMs are fairly easy, some have quick connects to contend with which may require a tool to disconnect.

Check autolibrary.org to see if they cover your vehicle.
