Question exchanging parts between two years

I wonder what is the difference between a '92' and a '93' Dodge Datona are there parts that won't transfer from one to the other? They look exactly the same body wise.. but is there anything that has changed in that one year of manufacturing? Would the original engine and transmition fit.. i have a v6 in the 93 and an automatic transmition.. i don't know what the other one has but i think it would be the same. help,

The newer model may have upgrades all over. Also dealing with possible emission control differences. Cant really tell without a parts book and compare numbers. Joe can give you a proper answere on this.

I don't understand what it is you're trying to accomplish.

The best resource to answer interchangibility questions is a Hollander Interchange Manual which any good junkyard has. See one of them.
