o2 SENSOR
i own an 89 wrangler and was wondering if there is a good resourse to use to change out an o2 sensor? If so which one? Also I am not your local machanic but if there are good directions to repairing or replacing parts i usually manage just fine. Any special tools needed to perform this replacement? Any info would be great. thanks

AZ can sell you or rent you the needed socket (deep socket with a slot in it).
Alternatively, an open end wrench usually works as well.
Just screw the old one out, install the new one. Make sure the exhaust is fairly cold so you don't burn yourself.
Barring that, it's about a 15 minute job, tops.

As long as it is easy to get to a 22mm or 7/8 wrench will work. I like to slip the boxed end of the wrench over the connector (if it will fit) to get good leverage. But since you plan to replace it, you could just cut the wire next the the sensor and whalla. Just dont cut the new one. LOL
Hope this helps,
Billy
P.S. Is there a reason you are replacing it? Just curious.
