mark to line up or crankshaft at 10 degrees

Thanks to everyone that already helped me to change my water pump. Now my engine lacks power. I think the problem is with the marks on crankshat pulley, camshaft sproket and the rear timing belt cover. Question: do the 3 marks have to be lined up or the crankshaft pulley at 10 degrees?

Did you follow the procedure to line up the marks in the service manual/autolibrary???

The timing could be off or there are other problems (tune up needed, lack of fuel pressure, restricted exhaust, etc).

The timing marks have a certain position that they must be lined up. The 10 degrees is for the timing advance. This is done afterwards, when everything is back together. Be sure you put everything in the right place back there.

Your crankshaft pulley timing mark should be at 10 degrees on the lower front cover as you stated. The cam pully mark aligns to the mark on the upper rear timing belt cover. If you lined the crank at zero you are off a tooth, will never run right.

Thanks a lot

Thanks a lot to everybody,
I've just saved about 400 $can. My engine runs pretty well now.

What i did:
I lined up the marks on camshaft and the rear cover ( on top)

I lined down the marks on crankshaft sprocket and the rear cover (at the bottom). The "10 degrees" for the mark on crankshaft pulley will be fixed by itself then.

That's it !! I am very happy!

Thanks again to everyone.
