Honda non-start from water pump?

Thanks, Joe. Is it possible for this car not to start due to a
defective water pump?

Have no idea which vehicle we are talking about????

Please use the reply button when replying to a post so all the information is in one place......

Unless the water pump soaked something electrical, it's not likely the cause of the problem of no start.

Yes the pump could be siezed and strip the teeth off the belt,or wobble and the belt could jump several teeth and not start.Find out if the camshaft is turning.

I had a water pump seize on a 94 Integra and the engine made an awful noise because the shaft bent and the belt was popping off the pump sprocket. The belt also slipped on the timing sprockets, which prevented it from starting.
