84 monte carlo

I have an 84 monte carlo with a 229 engine. How much work would be involved in replacing it with a 350 eng and tran. I mean do you have to make new mounts or just change them. Is there much trouble involved.
Thanks
Bill

Updating the: tranny, suspension, cooling system, braking system, rear end, driveline, as well as the engine.

Depending on your state, you'll need to hook up the computer, wiring harnesses, etc to make it "legal".

It's techically an illegal swap as the 350 was never offered in this era Monte Carlo.

It can be done, depends how "right" you want it and how big your budget is.
