1999 Chevy Prism

Does anyone know where the fuel filter is located on a 1999 Chevy Prism. Auto, 1.8 liter ( i think ) air. I haven't looked yet but figured if its underneath a little direction wold help....Thanks Tim

Many Toyotas (this is really a Toyota) have them snapped into a bracket on the firewall.

Follow the lines up from the fuel tank and you should find it. Big honking can .

Thnaks Joe. Onmy truck its located underneath by the drivers door. PIA to change it.

It's in the fuel tank and shouldn't need servicing.

you know...I looked on the firewall and didn't find it. Thanks for the input!

Come to think of it, that's right . Some newer Toyotas don't have "serviceable" filters as you'd expect.

Piss poor idea, but it's reality .
