Front end problem

My wife has a 98 Ford Escort. Lately, I have been noticing a rattling noise in the front driver side of the car when ever I turn a corner. Could that just be a bearing going bad? If so, about what is the cost for a new part and the ease of the install? Thanks

It could be a CV axle that's bad. If it's more of a clicking/popping noise that's what it is.

Axles run about $200 a side installed on many cars.
