compressing brake cylinder
A 1993 Sable, with disc breaks all the way around. Had no problem compressing front caliber cylinders but even with the bleeder screws out, the rears would not fully compress. They have an emergency lever cam attached. Is there a trick to compressing the rears? Thanks

they require a tool that actually turns the caliper piston as it compresses it check with your parts store to see if the tool is available.

in a pinch, a pair of needlenose pliers will work. make sure the nubs on the brake pad line up with the notches in the piston too.
