Question Honda Accord Locks makes a noise

I have a 94 Honda Accord with auto lock on the doors. The locks make this loud buzzing noise after locking it with a key or pressing the inside lock button down. The noise goes for about 15 seconds then stops, then it starts again and stops. I haven't stayed around the car to see how long this can go on for. When I return to the car I don't hear it. The car is haunted.
What could be causing this noise that makes everyone jump when it starts?

Sounds like a noisy door lock actuator. If it works, leave it alone.

Fairly extensive to repair. When it quits, replace it.

i guess i'm on the "don't do it yourself" forum tonight.

where exactly is the buzzing coming from, one door in particular, all doors, or under the dash. if you can narrow it down to one lock actuator, take the door panel off and see how hard the job might be, call a dealer and see how expensive the part actually is, so you (the poster) can decide if it's within your abilities to repair
