check engine

Hey,
I have a '90 toyota pickup V6. I've never had a problem with it and have changed the oil every 3000 mis. However, today the chech engine light went on. I cahnged the oil and checked all fluids, but it stayed on. Any ideas what it could be? It hasn't been tuned up in a long time...could this be a possibility?
thanks

Sure.

Follow the procedure in www.batauto.com to extract the trouble codes (that is why the light is on). Post here what you find.

Don't celebrate too soon, as soon as the condition that set the code repeats, the light will be back.
