Drivers window is sticking, I have to assist it up/down--can anyone tell me what the prob. may be or where i can go online to look at a schematic/breakdown so i can diagnose??

Weak motor, dirt/grit in the track, dirty switch connections, etc.
Likely one of the former two. Ford markets something called "Mini Vent Lube" which works great on window tracks. Try that first.
As for online schematics, if Autolibrary below doesn't have it, try your library for a manual. Failing that, time to up 25 bones for an Alldata.com subscription.

These are notorious for stripping out the plastic driven gear. You can get a rebuild kit for the motor pretty cheap at most auto part stores. Pop the door panel off and drill out the 3 rivets holding the motor on and see if the plastic gear is stripped. Have someone assist holding the window up, or tape it up so it doesn't fall down when you remove the motor.
