This fuel filter is quite easy to change. There are quick connects on each end. You can get a cheap set of Lisle quick disconnect tools at Sears between $10-$20. There may or may not be a little metal retainer that just snaps into the ends of the fittings. These are not holding any pressure. Click the correct size quick disconnect tool into the fitting and just pull off. It might take you a few trys to get it off, but it will come, you have to get it in just the right position. Be careful of the fuel spray. The filter itself just snaps into the bracket. It is not bolted in.
Hope this helps,
Billy

Agreed. A couple of cautions:

1) Shield your eyes and skin
2) Get a good drain pan to catch the fuel.
3) No smoking, sparks or open light bulbs.
4) Remove the gas cap to help relieve some pressure.

Take your time and it's pretty easy .
