"Flipping the Bird" :)

What a surprise yesterday. I come home from work and there's a copy of "The History of the Firebird" by Mark Cranswick. This book is being retailed at Barnes and Noble.

If you turn to page 81 and 87 of the book, you will find some very dear Pontiacs of mine......err, they are my cars in the book Yahoo!!!

Page 81 has my 1979 10th Anniversary 400 4-speed T/A (exterior and engine shots) and page 87 has a great hood shot of my 1980 Turbo 301 with 27,000 original miles on it.

As Pontiac said in 1979 on the 10th Anniversary, "Very Rare, Very Well Done".

It's nice to see your cars in print. Long live the Old Pont .

Yay for GM rear drive!

LOL. Since I'm not making anything on the book nor selling either car, there's no advertising. LOL.

Thanks for the vote of confidence .

Welllll, I KNEW you wouldn't be selling the car, but wasn't sure about book royalties. Never know what book publishers might be up to; after all look how much they paid Hillary!
