heater/AC motor

I have a 94 Taurus SHO and the blower motor for the heater/AC will not shut off no matter what I do. It is equipped with the electronic climate control. If I raise or lower the temperture control it still runs, even if it put to "OFF". Any ideas what this might be?

electronic controls are hard to diagnos without a proper diagram.
If you had a schematic, you could unplug the harness and go from there. My opinion is the control head/board has a glitch or is bad internally. Normally they replace the whole head as a unit . Big bucks. There are places that can check them or rebuild them for about 100 clams, 1 yr warranty, but you have to R&R and send it in.

I agree. Definitely need a schematic or system operation chart.

Hit the library for a service manual or pony up for a $25 Alldata.com subscription. You can check autolibrary.org below, not sure what they have for this problem.
