Post Turn signals for 1990 Mustang LX

My son owns a 1990 Mustang LX. The turn signals are not functioning. We purchased a Haynes manual and followed the diagrams but were not able to locate the problem without completely tearing the wiring out. We would like to know since we do not have the owners manual where the flasher relay part #SF-224 is located and if there are any other switches or relays we should check other than the switch on the column and the fuse in the fuse box.

Order a new owner's manual from Helminc.com

Throw out the Haynes manual---useless for any serious repair. Helminc.com has OEM shop manuals, much better.

Call up any parts store and they will find you the flasher location in their Wagner lighting catalog.

Suspect the flasher if the hazards work Ok but the turn signals do not. Otherwise the problem is likely elsewhere. Let us know what you find.

Per Alldata: The turn signal flasher is located on the instrument panel reinforcement flange above the fuse panel.
Hope this helps ya,
Billy
