i need to know how to get to the spark plugs and how to change the plug wires on a v6 3.6 ltr, 98 pontiac montana.

I think you mean a 3.4 liter Montana.

Nothing much to tell. Get yourself a set of Delco wires. Remove each wire, one by one. Route them the same way as the originals. Keep going till you do all six. Done.

Actually there is quite alot to it. You will need to remove the windshield wiper module cover and rotate the engine to get to the rear spark plugs.

YA THE REAR BANK IS A PAIN.
I LIKE TO REMOVE THE TWO FRONT SUBFRAME BOLTS WITH THE VEHICLE SUPPORTED BY THE FRAME, AND THEN LET THE FRONT OF THE CRADLE DOWN, THIS ROLLS THE WHOLE POWERTRAIN FORWARD AND DOWN.....
NOT EXACTLY SOMETHING THAT CAN BE DONE IN A DRIVEWAY...
