window
I have a 1989 Olds 88. About a month ago we could not get the passenger side window to roll up. Took it to have someone look at it, said we needed a new motor. We had that replaced and the next week it wouldn't roll up again. Took it in, said that someone must have been holding the swithch after it was down........doubt it.........and that they needed to replace a little plastic part. One week later, guess what, it won't roll up, had my husband take it in, said the same thing as before, told us not to roll it all the way down. One week later, the window is rolled half way down, shut the door and it falls down. Can't get it back up. Needless to say I've already spent more money than we can afford on this, and I'm cretainly not taking it back to these guys who it seems have no idea what they are doing. Can you tell me what we need to do. Thanks

LOOK IN THE CONDUIT WHERE THE WIRING HARNESS PASSES FROM THE BODY INTO THE DRIVER'S DOOR, IT LOOKS LIKE A BELLOWS, IT'S TOUGH TO GET IN THERE AND LOOK, BUT PULL IT AWAY FROM THE DOOR AND/OR BODY, IT FITS LIKE A GROMMET, CHANCES ARE THERE IS A BROKEN WIRE WHERE THE HARNESS BENDS EVERY TIME THE DRIVER'S DOOR IS OPENED AND CLOSED.
