2000 chevry blazer headlight

Hi all,
How do I change the head light bulk for this vehicle. Do I have to take the whole light out or from the look of it, I have to remove the air filter for the left one and the battery out to change the right one. thank you for your support.

Tran

These should come out from the back after you removed obstacles to gain access to the bulb socket.

Look in your owner's manual, it should have the procedure there.

If the OM is missing, get a new one from Helminc.com

Do you have regular headlamps or the High Intensity Discharge type?I hope they are regular because if they are not you are going to cry.Are the the blue colored when lit?Tell which type and I'll give you step by step(how to).

LOOK BEHIND THE RADIATOR SUPPORT, THERE'S TWO CLIPS, SLIDE THEM UP , THE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY WILL FALL OUT. EASY.

First, I want to thank you to all of your reply. One of my head light bulb on the left was burn out. I went to store and brought a new one. I thought it would be a easy job. But I when I actually look at it, I have to remove the air filter (I am guessing) other than that I have no idea how to take the old one in and put the new one in. Just a common thought, if that's the way to change a light bulb, look like GM Engineer is smartest people of all.

Thank

What did the owner's manual have to say?

How about what everyone's suggested here?
