1990 lumina euro 3.1 head gasket repair

1990 lumina euro 3.1 head gasket repair

My 1990 lumina euro 3.1 is almost on it's death bed. I BELIEVE that i have a blown head gasket, and that i there's also a coolant leak...maybe both i don't know...i can see the flouresant green coolant oozing out near the belts, but i don't know where to start. I couls use all the help i can get from you guys. thanks

Probably a water pump or intake leak before a head gasket.

Go to Autozone and rent a coolant tester. That will tell you if you have a blown gasket. Or, have a shop stick a gas analyzer probe into the radiator. If hydrocarbons show up in the coolant, blown head gasket as well.
