Small Crack

I have a small crack in my windshield on one of my cars. About 3/4 inch long with a small dot in the center.
What can a person do to fix it them selves?????

Basically nothing. Do you have ins? Best left to a glass repair shop. AND sometimes they will on occassion Boo Boo and create a larger crack, seen it happen.

Many glass shops can fix these cost effectively if you nip it early. I agree with Darrell. Not DIY repair.

You can buy windshield crack repair kits at local auto parts stores for around $10. They are for small cracks and I have heard that they work. I personally have not seen nor used them, but I would not hesitate to use them for small cracks before paying big bucks for a professional repair.

Michael is correct.

My sister's father in law had it done. No charge.
